This Privacy Policy governs the way Busy Tag® collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the Busy Tag® website and associated applications (“App”). This Privacy Policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by Busy Tag®.

Personal Identification Information

Busy Tag® may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our App. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. Users may, however, visit our App anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except if it may prevent them from engaging in certain App-related activities.

Non-Personal Identification Information

Busy Tag® may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our App. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about Users’ means of connection to our App, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Web Browser Cookies

Our App may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. Users’ web browsers place cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Users may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies or to alert them when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the App may not function properly.

How We Use Collected Information

Busy Tag® may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:

• To process payments: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
• To improve customer service: Information Users provide helps us respond to customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
• To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our App.
• To improve our App: We may use feedback Users provide to improve our products and services.
• To send periodic emails: We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.

How We Protect Your Information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our App.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Google User Data

The Busy Tag® application offers optional integrations with Google services (Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Tasks, and Google Drive). If you choose to connect one of these integrations, we access the following information from your Google account, solely to display status information on your Busy Tag® device:

– Google Calendar: your calendar list and upcoming event details (title, time, location, description);

– Gmail: the unread message count of a mailbox label you select. We do not access the content, subject lines, senders, or any other part of your email messages;

– Google Tasks: your task lists and incomplete tasks;

– Google Drive: your storage quota usage. We do not access your files or their names.

How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used exclusively to render status images and indicator colors on your Busy Tag® device. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose, and it is never sold or shared with third parties. Busy Tag®’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention of Google User Data

Google user data is processed transiently on your own device and is not transmitted to or stored on Busy Tag® servers. The application retains only the OAuth access and refresh tokens required to connect to your Google account, and these are stored exclusively in your device’s secure storage. Displayed information (such as an unread count or event title) is replaced on the next refresh cycle and is not archived or retained in any historical form.

Deletion of Google User Data

You can delete all Google-related data at any time by any of the following means:

– disconnecting the Google integration within the Busy Tag® application, which immediately deletes the stored OAuth tokens and any locally cached data;

– uninstalling the Busy Tag® application, which removes all data stored by the application on your device;

– revoking Busy Tag®’s access in your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates all issued tokens.

Because Busy Tag® does not retain Google user data on its servers, no separate server-side deletion request is required. If you have any questions about the handling of your Google user data, you may contact us using the details provided in the “Contacting Us” section below.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Busy Tag® has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using this App, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use our App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
